GROUND RULES
Clear expectations keep the project on track.
Before we start, we sign a short contract with an annex that lists exactly what the website includes, the timeline and the price. Anything not listed there is not included and is agreed separately.
Scope
Pages, features and languages are listed in an annex to the contract.
We note which copy and photos you provide.
A new page or feature is agreed separately, priced before work starts.
Timeline
The timeline is in working days and starts from the deposit or from receiving your materials, whichever is later.
If materials or replies are late, the timeline moves by the same number of days.
Payment
50% deposit on signing. Work starts once the deposit arrives.
50% after you approve the website and before it goes live.
Domain, hosting and paid licences are not included unless listed.
Revisions and approval
The price includes 2 rounds of revisions. One round is one list of notes.
You have 5 working days to review. With no notes in that time, the website counts as approved.
Rights and domain
The domain is registered in your name.
After full payment the website is entirely yours, including the right to develop it with someone else.
You must have the right to use the materials you provide.
Warranty, support and cancellation
For 30 days after launch I fix errors in my work free of charge.
Support after that is optional, for a monthly fee.
If you stop the project midway, the deposit covers the work done and is not refunded.
